Taylor Knibb claims fourth IRONMAN 70.3 world title in Nice

American Taylor Knibb claimed her fourth IRONMAN 70.3 world title late this morning in Nice. She blew the competition apart on the 90 km bike course through the Nice hinterland before holding on to her lead over the final half marathon. Switzerland's Julie Derron finished second, ahead of compatriot Alanis Siffert in third. France's top finisher, Marjolaine Pierré, took fifth.
