For the second year in a row, the T100 circuit finale, jointly organised by the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO), World Triathlon, Visit Qatar and the Qatar Cycling and Triathlon Federation, will take place in Lusail from 10 to 12 December 2026.
The course will be similar to last year’s, showcasing Lusail’s waterfront. Athletes will begin with a 2 km swim in the Persian Gulf, followed by 80 km on the bike through the city streets over several laps, before finishing with an 18 km run around Lusail Plaza and the Boulevard.
Relay formats now open to age-group athletes
For the first time in 2026, age-group athletes will also be able to compete as part of a team. Relay races will be offered over both the 100 km and Sprint distances, making the event programme more accessible. It will also feature the T100 Age Group World Championships, individual Open and age-group championships, as well as popular 1 km and 5 km running races.
The weekend will bring the 2026 season of the T100 Triathlon World Tour to a close. Across the season, the world’s leading male and female professional triathletes will battle for the highly coveted unofficial world title. Thousands of age-group triathletes from around the globe will also take part in the various events.
The T100 Triathlon World Tour will feature nine events around the world in 2026: four women-only events in Gold Coast, Vancouver, Dubai and Spain; four men-only events in Singapore, San Francisco, the French Riviera and Saudi Arabia; and this mixed-gender finale in Qatar.
