The new measured tyre clearance of 38 mm lets you venture comfortably onto asphalt, back roads and most gravel tracks. Thanks to its revised 100 Series aluminium frame and new carbon fork, the new Domane AL is around 250 grams lighter than the previous disc Domane AL. The new cockpit features an updated road handlebar for improved ergonomics and control, with a shorter reach and 4 mm of flare between the hoods and the drops. Internal cable routing, meanwhile, delivers a refined level of integration generally reserved for higher-end models.

For the first time, the Domane AL comes with a new thru-axle compatible with the Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH). The UDH is the derailleur hanger used on Trek mountain bikes, allowing cyclists to benefit from cross-category compatibility across their different uses.
