Sign up for YOTTA XP Menton on October 10 and discover a new way to close out your season

On October 10, Menton will host YOTTA XP for the first time. The event challenges athletes to complete as many swim and run laps as possible, with less time allowed after each lap. Triathlons.com takes a closer look at this innovative format, launched in Vichy in 2022 and coming to the Côte d’Azur in 2025.

After its first Côte d’Azur edition in Cannes in 2025, YOTTA XP is heading to Menton this year for its second event on the French Riviera, with the support of the Alpes-Maritimes département. Plage des Sablettes will serve as the starting point for a day built around pushing personal limits, with the Mediterranean as its playground.

Known for its colorful façades, authentic atmosphere and famous Lemon Festival, Menton offers YOTTA XP a distinctive setting. Just a few kilometers from the Italian border, the city should also attract plenty of participants from across the Alps, adding to the international feel of this stop.

A new challenge on every lap

Created in Vichy in 2022 by Sacha Rosenthal, CEO of Xefi and an experienced IRONMAN triathlete, YOTTA XP offers a unique format in the world of multisport: repeating swim and run laps within a set time limit that gets shorter and shorter.

On every lap, participants must cross the finish line before a set time to be allowed onto the next one. The time limit for each new lap is reduced according to a predetermined cut-off. This format turns every lap into a fresh challenge, making each finish line a victory.

In Menton, participants can choose from several formats depending on their level and ambitions: YOTTA XP S, S Relay, M and M Relay. The lineup brings seasoned athletes and newcomers together for the same experience.
